Let's Welcome the New Year!

Dear RWA Families,

Welcome back! We hope you had a rejuvenating winter break and are ready for an exciting 2024. As we begin the new year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your generous contributions to our community initiatives. Your donations of food items to the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and coats to The Warm Coat Drive were tremendous successes, making a meaningful impact on those in need. Your kindness and support embody the spirit of community that defines Rollingwood Academy. Thank you for helping us start the year with warmth, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Here's to a fantastic 2024 filled with continued collaboration and community building!

Re-enrollment

A sincere thank you to those who have promptly submitted their re-enrollment forms. Your proactive response is truly appreciated and helps us in planning for the upcoming academic year. However, we want to remind those who have not yet turned in their re-enrollment forms that, unfortunately, your child's spot is no longer guaranteed. With enrollment opening to the public next week, we anticipate a high demand and the possibility of waitlists for several classes. To ensure continuity for your child's education at Rollingwood Academy, we kindly urge you to complete the re-enrollment process at your earliest convenience. Your cooperation is vital, and we look forward to continuing the educational journey together.

Assessments

Teachers have started assessments in their classrooms and these will be sent home January 26th. Conferences will not be held this semester, however if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule a conference.

Inclement Weather Policy

Rollingwood Academy special announcements, such as school closings, delays, and early dismissals will be posted on our social media page, posted on your child’s Class Dojo and on our website www.rollingwoodacademy.com. You will also receive an email as soon as we make a decision about school closings or delays.
