Dear Rollingwood Families,
Happy April! Welcome to a brand-new edition of the Rollingwood Academy Newsletter. With spring in full bloom, our campus is buzzing with energy, curiosity, and new beginnings. This month is filled with wonderful highlights, from classroom learning to upcoming events, all reflecting the creativity, growth, and joy we see each day. We’re so excited to share what’s unfolding this season at Rollingwood!
Spring Tea Party Invitation
You’re invited to join us for a sweet spring celebration! On April 3rd at 11:30 AM, we will kick off our Spring Tea Party with a fun-filled egg hunt, followed by a cheerful potluck-style tea party. It’s such a special way to welcome the season together.
We would love for the children to come dressed in their “Sunday Best”—think pretty dresses, bonnets, gloves, ties, bow ties, or any outfit that makes them feel festive and special.
If you plan to take your child home after the event, please let your child’s teacher or a staff member know ahead of time so we can ensure a smooth and easy dismissal.
We can’t wait to celebrate the joys of spring with our Rollingwood families!
Spring Break Reminder
Spring Break is just around the corner! Rollingwood Academy will be closed from April 6th through April 10th.
We hope all of our families enjoy a restful, joyful, and safe break. Whether you're traveling or staying close to home, we wish you a week filled with sunshine, laughter, and special moments together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for more springtime fun!
Earth Day – April 22nd
At Rollingwood Academy, we believe in nurturing a love for nature and the world around us. On Tuesday, April 22nd, our students will take part in Earth Day activities designed to celebrate our beautiful planet.
From nature walks and gardening to art projects using recycled materials, children will explore how small actions can make a big difference. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn, create, and connect with the Earth in meaningful ways.

Spring pictures will be taken on:
Tuesday, April 21st
Wednesday, April 22nd
Individual and class photos will be captured during these days. More specific details regarding your child’s picture day will be shared by your child’s teacher soon.
April – Month of the Military Child
April is recognized as the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the strength, resilience, and sacrifices of children in military families. At Rollingwood Academy, we are proud to support and celebrate these incredible children who are such an important part of our community.
To show our appreciation, we invite all students and staff to wear purple on Wednesday, April 15th for “Purple Up! Day.” Purple represents all branches of the military and symbolizes unity and support.
We look forward to coming together in a sea of purple to recognize and celebrate our military children!
