Celebrating the Final Weeks of the School Year
Dear RWA Parents,
As we head into the final weeks of the school year, we are so proud of all the growth and accomplishments we’ve seen in our students. It has been a wonderful year, and we’re looking forward to ending it with lots of fun and special memories.
Sunscreen and Bug Spray
With the warmer weather, we are spending more time outside. If your child is sensitive to the sun or bug bites, please apply sunscreen and bug spray before arriving at school.
Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th- 8th)
We’re excited to celebrate our incredible teachers. Here’s how you can join in:
Monday: BLOOM INTO THE WEEK– Bring a flower or small plant
Tuesday: NACHO AVERAGE TEACHER – Lunch for teachers provided by RWA Admin
Wednesday: YOU’RE THE SWEETEST – Bring in a sweet treat
Thursday: TEACHERS ARE NOTEWORTHY – Make your teacher(s) a card
Friday: FAVORITE THINGS FRIDAY – Bring your teacher(s) one of their favorite things
Kindergarten Graduation
Our Kindergarten Graduation will take place on Friday, May 22nd at 10:00 AM. We’ll begin with a classroom video, followed by the ceremony on stage and a cake celebration. Parents are welcome to set up lawn chairs in front of the stage that morning.
Field Day & Last Day of School
The last day of school is Friday, May 29th. All Tuesday/Thursday students are invited to join us from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and parents are welcome to attend.
Please send in your Field Day RSVPs by May 8th. Students will rotate through activity stations and enjoy a picnic lunch. Be sure to dress your child in comfortable clothes that can get a little messy.
We are so grateful for each of our families and the role you play in making Rollingwood such a special place. Your support, kindness, and partnership mean so much to us and to your children. It has been a joy to watch your children learn, grow, and thrive this year. Thank you for trusting us with them each day. We truly appreciate you and look forward to all that’s ahead.
