A Season of Joy at Rollingwood
Dear Rollingwood Academy Families,
December is here, and our school is buzzing with excitement. This month is full of cozy projects, joyful celebrations, and chances for our students to learn about kindness and giving. We love watching the children enjoy the magic of the season, both in the classroom and around our campus. Thank you for sharing your children with us and for being such an important part of our community. We’re looking forward to a wonderful month together.
Angel Tree Update
Our Angel Tree is looking festive, but we still have many angels left who need a little extra love this season. If you are able, please consider choosing a tag and helping us make the holidays brighter for a child in need. All Angel Tree gifts should be dropped off at the school by December 4th so we can ensure they are delivered on time. Thank you for your kindness and support.
Weather
Colder days are here, but we still plan to take the children outside at least once a day for fresh air and movement. Please send your child with warm layers, gloves, and a hat. If you haven’t already done so, please send in a labeled pair of extra gloves or mittens and a hat to keep at school.
2026-2027 School Year
It is already time to start thinking about next school year. Re-enrollment forms will be sent home this week. Families planning to return should register as soon as possible to secure preferred placement. Please send the completed form back by December 19 to ensure a spot for the 2026–2027 school year.
Payment
As a reminder, if you pay by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer, the processing fees will be added to your invoice on the front end beginning in January and moving forward. If you need to update how you would like to pay, please let us know as soon as possible.
Thank You for Your Generosity
Thank you to all our Rollingwood families for your incredible support during our Food Bank Drive. Together, we collected over 1,500 food items. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference for families in our community this holiday season. We are so grateful for your kindness.
Holiday Party
Our annual Holiday Party will be held on December 19th at 12:00 pm. All students are invited to attend. If you would like your child to be part of our surprise visit from Santa, please have them at school by 10:00 am.
This year we will once again host an international holiday celebration. We invite families to contribute a dish that reflects your culture or a special family tradition. Students and families are welcome to include a small postcard explaining the meaning behind their dish. This is always a wonderful way to share traditions, learn from one another, and celebrate the diverse community that makes Rollingwood so special.
