Rollingwood Academy is located in the Courthouse District of Princess Anne County in Virginia Beach. The school is situated on three acres of open land that backs up to the woods in a Pre-Revolutionary home, referred to as the Lancaster Lovett House. The original land grant was given to Lancaster Lovett in the 17th century by Charles II of England. The home was believed to have been built between 1772 and 1774. Original features include the door lock with the King of England's seal and the Adam's Mantles.
Today the rooms are spacious, modern and bright with different murals in each room designed by local artists. Our facility remains locked during hours of operation but we have an Open Door Policy for all our parents to observe their children at any time on our monitoring device without disruption to the classroom.
The Staff at Rollingwood Academy are dedicated and come to the school with degrees or certifications. They are experienced and strive to meet the needs of all students who enter the program. The atmosphere is friendly, nurturing and warm with a multitude of learning possibilities. |
